Summer Reading List

πŸ“š Summer Reading & Literacy Update
This summer, students will receive a reading list focused on celebrating diversity, teaching kindness and respect, exploring life sciences, and targeted grade-level book recommendations. Promoting reading over the summer is one of the best ways to help students retain the valuable literacy skills they gained throughout the school year!

πŸ“– MyON Summer Reading
The full summer reading packet, including interactive reading activities, can be accessed online. Happy reading!

to pre-order your scholar's uniform and have it ready for summer pickup so they're prepared for a fresh start in September!

PreK-8th Grade Uniform Colors Light Gray Polo with Black Uniform Quality Pants. Black Polo is only an option for 8th Graders.

πŸ”Ή Due to supply issues, we will be offering LIGHT GRAY polos and crewneck sweatshirts only for all students in PreK–8 (short and long sleeve options available).

πŸ”Ή Students in PreK–5 who already have dark gray polos may continue to wear them next year.

πŸ”Ή Black polos remain an option for 8th-grade students only.

⚠️ Please remember that uniforms are a Jersey City Public Schools district policy, not just a school expectation. Next year, uniform guidelines will be strictly enforced, and all students are expected to be in uniform every day.

We encourage families to order now and get ahead of the back-to-school rush. If your family is experiencing financial hardship, please contact the main officeβ€”we are here to help.
